I'm on admiral multicar with my mum's 1.8 Zafira and my dad's 1.8 Vectra also on the policy. I'm the registered keeper of my car but my dad is the registered owner. I have a 2003 '52 reg Renault Clio 1.2 Dynamique, about £1400 a year.

If none of the above works, try less known companies such as Bell, Adrian Flux and Sky Insurance

Go Compare

then either comparethemarket or confused.com

then go through the ones that aren't on compare sites such as directline (admiral are on compare sites btw, that's where I got my insurance).

You need to really look around cause there aren't really "cheap" companies, it varies from car to car from driver to driver.

admiral's rather good, I pay £1300 with me on the policy, with my uncle as a named driver with 2 years driving, 3 points and a ban.

I think i'm lucky that I got off with a 30 day ban and no points for what I was doing.. i don't drive like a lid anymore though.
