Do you judge people?

I think the title is right.

When you see someone, lets take for a example a new class student, and they are different, as in race, religion, appearance, the way they talk etc, would you try to communicate with them, say hi, become friends or particularly just not want anything to do with them?

Would anything put you off speaking to another person?

I would never not talk to somebody if they said hello to me, I wouldn't judge someone from their appearance or beliefs either. That said, I wouldn't personally go out of my way to say hello to somebody unless I really really wanted to.

anyone that says they dont judge people is a liar. everyone judges at first sight, it's like, a security device of the human mind.

im a shy person, but when i'm surrounded by people i know i'm an extrovert - so i'd say hi to someone new in class and like ask them questions and make them feel welcome init

I'm never the one to talk to people first, I just feel kinda awkward. But I wouldn't judge someone on anything like their appearance or beliefs, only on how they were acting towards me and others.
But obviously if they didn't look well presented or like they'd made an effort to wash, etc I wouldn't really want them to talk to me either.

with anyone I don't know I prefer the good old sit in the akward silence unless they talk first. Of course I judge people, as myke says everyone does - but I tend to have the maturity to keep it within my head rather than being a ****.

What would put me off though, would probably be attitude problems - being immature, or just unpleasant.

I don't like fat people and have actual issues with talking to girls I don't find attractive - I just can't do it. So yeah I judge.

I always make pre-assumptions of people, it's completely natural for us to do so. However I wouldn't avoid talking to someone just because of their appearance unless I didn't like them.
