On single player survival, does anyone else have the problem that the sun, moon and stars aren't appearing?

I definitely know the sun rises and sets for me, but dont think i really notice if theres stars + a moon or not. So does that mean you dont have day and night?

i have day and night, i.e it gets darker and lighter, but i cant see the sun, moon, and stars

cant see them on multiplayer either

or if you cant find hte link above, then bookmark http://www.minecraft.net/servers.jsp and just ctrl+f and serach for Nemocraft. If its up then itll be there.

thats a bit strange, does it do it on other saves too?

Save your saves and delete the .minecraft folder in %appdata%/roaming (I think)

Added kits to server so its easier to get a whole load of stone rather than continually typing 64 each time

ive tried everything, im gonna delete all the minecraft files i currently have (except my save) and redownload
