Forum Updates ~ 12/09/10

Hello everyone! A Big howdy from Martin and myself at our first Sunday Updates, and unfortunately there's nothing exciting enough to spark a protest in Hallway 1 I'm afraid. As Oli said last week, there should be some exciting things coming in the next fews weeks but I'm sure you'll all understand we want to get our feet firmly planted on the floor before looking to the sky .

What's going down this week? Well...

• Updates to VIP userbars
• Updates to certain profile fields
• Notification bars on the legacy skins

A while back, your opinions were expressed regarding the state of the VIP Userbars. It was decided that perhaps these were lacking in quality a little. These have now been given a makeover, and the results are shown below. We hope you like the new stars, and agree that perhaps the image is a little better.

Due to the recent forum reshuffle and the addition of several new skins since we last updated the profile fields, What is your favourite Forum? and What Forum skin do you use? have been updated to include the recent changes

Another little, but useful update this week is the addition of Notification bars to legacy skins. It was felt that the Classic and Retro blue skins should be updated to include this useful feature. Whilst this may not directly benefit all members, we're sure that it could be very helpful to some members who perhaps love these old skins. Notifications of PM's and VM's etc will now appear on these skins too!
