I've always been a fan of Greek mythology and nature myths. I've even read an entire book of them, and I know quite a bit about them. Now I want to hear some myths that you guys have heard.
Find the most interesting modern-day myth that you can, and post them here. One of my personal favorites is: An inflatable brassiere can explode inside an airplane as it climbs in altitude. [Which is completely untrue by the way. Myths, remember?] Have fun, and good luck!
