I disagree with the ability to turn off your filter. It would just encourage people to use swearing on the forum more often in my opinion, maybe.
As for people getting confused with Bobba, that was the reason for it's removal on my forum but saying that, I have seen many people who purposely use astericks in their statements
As for the skins, I think what would make this work is if it was only like this on the Habbo skins. I personally think that would be the best option for making this idea work, if it was to be considered![]()

As said you'll generally piss off the non-Habbo users who use this forum, unless it can be skin customized. Anyway, I prefer it the way it is.

I remember wehn my mates owned a IPB and they filtered al the swearwords to rhyme with other words
like **** = James Blunt
**** = firetruck
**** = casualty
yknow we had fun. this would add to my habboxforum experience greatly.
Expanding on what Pyroka said above, I personally think cockney slang should be implemented into the filter.
Grumble and grunt, Jack and Danny, feather plucker, peddle and crank, charing crosser, granny flat, casablanca, candle wick, etc.
