************. I went on a mining trip down below, creating stairs and then guess what. I hit a cave that had a really high drop from where I was. I start digging around above it to see if there's any easy way down and pressed forward by accident and fell :@ Had armor so I didn't take full damage and had like 2 hearts left.. ******* creeper blew up and killed me

I lost all my minecraft sound. Downloaded the latest client.. still no sound, manually downloaded the sounds.. still no sound, volume on music and sound is max.. Still no sound.

Deleted everything minecraft from my computer except my save.. Now I can't play until I've bought the game

Right, basically me and a friend are looking to setup a minecraft fansite. We are obviously starting from scratch and therefore need a bit of help. We are basically looking for a few people to;
- Help setup the forum. (This means being able to work with the technical side of forums, NOT mods.)
- Help setup the main site. (This means being able to code really. Not sure on if we're going to need a designer yet, but for now just someone who can code.)
These jobs will be paid.

We're not looking for voluntary jobs such as mods and content writers yet as we don't have anything for them to do

You have no friends you're lying. Also today I learned that if you start lagging to the extent that blocks regenerate when you mine them, mining directly under you lots and lots in an attempt to outrun it will only result in a lot of mining upwards when it sorts itself out

Wow, my servers clocked a total uptime of 10180 minutes so far. Thats a lot of digging time! (And I suspect it might be more than that since the monitor is down quite often too).
