    Default AVG 2011

    This is quite new, anyone tried it? I have just downloaded it - realised with the one I had already bought I didn't have to pay for the update. Pleased with that :L

    A few new features;

    - Social networking live scanning. It scans links you send/your friends send automatically
    - Supposedly uses more resources when you are not using the computer, to protect you.
    - PC Analyser - you have to buy this for it to work, although you do get a free 24 hour tester.. Trying the trial atm.

    Its "Looks" good. Good features although if I were to buy this new I wouldnt want to buy it just cos it scans link real time... :S Ill stick with the 30 day trial and Security Essentials for now

    That kinda confused me. I just picture it as a security force that comes out to work when you go to bed and doesn't protect you when you're doing anything while awake

    It looks interesting, but I think I'll stay with MSE for now... The user-interface puts me off AVG, it's not straightforward enough :/

    Sorry I mean as in if you are gaming, it won't scan using a lot of resources, but if you are doing nothing (and the p is turned on) it will use more resources, but do scans etc faster

    I have this as well. I know you do not need to have to, just somewhere down the line I ended up with two.
