I posted a thread earlier this week talking about an upcoming concert (at the time the thread was posted) that had some awesome bands (in my opinion), with more showing than I could remember.

So I attended the concert last night, and I was completely impressed.

The concert was kicked off by a band called Royal Bliss. I've never heard of them, and they sounded decent, although the definitely weren't the crowd favorite. I don't blame them; they were the first up in a queue that consisted of major-label rock bands.

After Royal Bliss finished (they only played three songs), Fuel came on. They did an awesome performance of Shimmer, Hemorrhage and Bitter Sweet. It's safe to say that Fuel was the band that started to pump the crowd up.

Drowning Pool followed Fuel, at which the crowd was ecstatic. It had to be the defining moment of the concert, when they came onstage and started dropping F-bombs like they were going out of style. Excellent performance of all their songs, with Bodies, Sinner and Soldiers being played.

After the chaos that Drowning Pool created, Skillet came onstage. I was thrilled with their performance, but not as much as I hoped. They played all of their huge hits, like Monster and Hero.

The band that stole the show, however, was Five Finger Death Punch. Stone Temple Pilots was originally slated to headline the concert, however I found that it was FFDP that took their place. I don't know why STP didn't show up, but it apparently didn't matter. Everyone was going crazy when FFDP showed up, and they played a slew of epic songs to finish the night. Hard to See, Never Enough, Burn it Down, Stranger Than Fiction and Death Before Dishonor were a few of the songs played.

Overall, an epic night, filled with awesome live music, tons of beers (and the drunk denziens of the city the concert was located in), good food and great weather to compliment the venue.

/Summary

That being said, do you like any of the bands listed? If so, elaborate on your favorite songs by them. If not, explain why (which the most likely reason why will be due to the fact that one does not listen/like the rock/metal genre).
