I was under the impression that crashes are over with and no more backups would need to be put in place?

Omg, I just ****ed all over my diamond pick...
So 1 is like a limbo that you can use to move further faster.
2 New mobs
3 The deeper in to caves you go, the more lighting needed so mobs don't spawn.
4 Torches die i'm going to be investing in loads of lanterns 
Minecraft dark scares me.
