Yeh i get what you are saying but no daylight for 69 days is definitely not good for the eyes.

    25 rescued of 33. 8 miners + 2 workers to go!

Really glad to hear that they have started bringing them up, almost got them all by the sounds of it now?

Haven't watched the news tonight so I guess I will just have to see what happened when they brought them up on youtube.

It'll most likely be a worker, who would know what to do anyway.

Yeh they have confirmed this on BBC News ... the 2 workers will be last as they know more about what needs to happen.

    29/35 rescued (includes 2 workers)

Well they're all up at last. Seems like they beat their original estimate of 48 hours by a long way!

I know they started getting showing off with the last few seeing how quick they could get them up!

22 hours the whole rescue took place to get the miners out.

Hopefully they will all get better from any problems which they may have and try to get back to a normalish life.

Genuinely a remarkable news story, rarely do you hear news like this. I'm just amazed it's all gone so well and they're all in good health, the efforts made by all seem to be amazing too.

I bet they could make a fortune turning it into a tourist attraction if they made a proper lift for it.
