Never thought of that. It would definitely be something to see, you'd be able to experience just how far down it is and what the living conditions were like.Genuinely a remarkable news story, rarely do you hear news like this. I'm just amazed it's all gone so well and they're all in good health, the efforts made by all seem to be amazing too.
I bet they could make a fortune turning it into a tourist attraction if they made a proper lift for it.
Just looked into it and there's talk of preserving the Underground mine and Tent village, would certainly be interesting that's for sure. Chilean Wine has been predicted to sell much better round the world too. Also the company that provided the $400 Sunglasses, the coverage they've got from this is equivalent to a $41million marketing campaign![]()

I never actually thought of that. It would be pretty cool if they did, surely it would attract people to Chile.
The Times said they were Oakley sunglasses; bet that was the best investment they've ever made![]()
I love stories like this make me all warm insideI like how they changed the camp name from camp hope to camp hope fulfilled
Plus if they made a tourist attraction out of it and people were to go down wouldn't it be a bit dangerous if there was a rock slide again? I may be totally wrong but I usually am :L
