Aha but to be honest, Liverpool are one of the clubs I'll happily say I'm more confident we'll win something major before them. We're both out of the Carling Cup but out of the FA Cup, Europa League and the Premiership I'd be more comfortable sticking £10 on Manchester City winning one of those. I'd even be more comfortable sticking £10 on Sunderland having a better chance in a cup compared to Liverpool. Personally, I can only see Liverpool dwindling in mid-table for a couple of years unless this owner sells up in six months (which is what he's probably planning to do).

I 'bashed' Liverpool? I think you'll find I simply contributed my opinion on the matter, as I said in my first post in this thread I'd wait and see what happens, which I did. For the record, I'm not a Manchester United fan.

To be fair, Manchester City have really done well the last year or two, but in my honest opinion, as long as we get a grip before Christmas, Liverpool will be back in full swing for next season.
