This is just my opinion, but I think I should put it out there...

after looking on both owners Forum user pages, I see that neither really visit the forum regularly. Now, I understand that they both have lives, jobs ect, but surely it doesn't hurt to log on once a week for 10 minutes to say hi?

From past experience, having Owners active within the community raises activity levels. It makes people feel welcome, because the Owners are there, and they can ask questions ect. If the owners aren't around, people think that they don't care, and then that says something about the site...

so, to improve the site further...maybe the owners could become a little more active, both on the forum, and maybe visit some DJs habbo parties? This would bump up activity, and maybe even draw some new people in

Just my opinion but yeah :]

Sierk's just financial owner now and too old for Habbo. He'd be put on the sex offenders register just for logging on.
Jin is on the forum quite a bit he I think he hides on invisible.

I think you have a good point about owners being active and it's a shame that it's not really practical with our owners atm, I think general management need to make up for it instead

I agree that more people would be interested if the owners went on Habbo and interacted/helped advertise, it'd be great.. but it would never happen :-(
Neither probably have any interest in Habbo Hotel any more!

That's probably true, but I tbh, hate habbo, find it boring, and only play to DJ & chat with a few friends lol, and I dont see the harm of them finding 5-10 spare minutes in their day to log on and post something or have a quick party on habbo.

Jin posted on the forum the other day, he admitted that recently he has been quite inactive over the summer but that is because he has a very demanding job. He has been on every day for a considerable period however - which is good, and I like having him around

Alternatively, sierk is the financial owner of Habbox and all the points raised by Inseriousity are correct.

Jin and Sierk employ us to run the site for them, clearly we have a very active General Management team and that's always sufficed for Habbox.

SkaterChu players an active role on ClubHabbo, which makes the whole site feel a bit more friendly. The whole sierk and Jin not be active (Jin is, in a way, but he's invisible which is pretty anti-social) hurts the morale of users and staff, as they do come off as uncaring and unsociable, and only seem to feed the meter to keep HxF alive

AH I see. I checked Jins account, and it said last activity was over a year ago lol. Musta been wrong person ! But its nice to see that he logs in. And Yeah I understand Sierk's position.

And I see that the General Management are on a lot, I just personally feel that the owners can't be replaced if you get me. The owners are the people that bought & created the site, and keep it open, and I think it would be nice, even if only occasionally, to see both of them pop their heads in to say hi or to interact with the users, but I get why that isn't always possible

Hmm, seems I was too busy watching videos to make changes to my post, but this is what the edit was meant to be:

Habbox was a pretty good website when sierk and Mizki were active members. If sierk was active now, he'd be banned within a few days... His posts were harsh, honest and straight to the point, maybe when he started becoming inactive the random rules came in?

Random rules such as what? I dunno really I know sierks view of Habbox was to maintain a level of professionalism that the other sites didn't have and I know until recently that is the major hold we had over other habbo fansites, because we had a more mature community. Nowadays this doesn't seem to work too well for us.

Well there was that really odd rule about being a "negative factor". Professionalism on a fansite is never going to work, I don't even remember HxF being professional back in the early days - it was mature but in a fun loving way.
