Not actually sure, but Jamesy had a word with the (ex)mod because I also didn't discuss sex in detail.
I got a 0 point infraction overall though.
omgzzz we will remove ur vipzz
its ******ed. Its called a teenagers forum and a bit of fun used to entertain users and make more posts, overall benefiting the forum.
You're entertaining the forum by spamming the VIP calendar? I cannot see how it benefits the forum as a whole, I'll think about it for a second. Its called a teenagers forum and a bit of fun used to entertain users and make more posts, overall benefiting the forum.
..
Nope still doesn't make sense.
Chippiewill.
Think normal member PMs are bad? You must see staff warnings lol, it's like you've killed someone.
But yeah, it could be worded in a nice way..
That PM is automated by the wayI broke a rule and got infracted for it, and it was no where near as harsh in tone as that?
I'd rather get one like that, it informs me of what I did wrong, and I know not to do it again.
In some ways Jamesy's PM does seem a little harsh. But if someone gets an actual warning then surely their PM should be harsher than someone who just gets a telling off?
(Removed quoted thread in reply.)
You broke the rules and the moderator made a judgement as to what 'level of niceness' the PM should be and he decided that as you've been here for years, you should know how the rules work and therefore didn't bother with the sugarcoating and got straight to the point. If this just annoys you and makes you want to do it again, you'll get warned again.
Its actually one event, not spammed, just the end date is set to December, thats all. Takes them like 10 seconds to edit.
I think the PM to A.B was totally right to be harsh, because the fact is I even sent you a nice one yesterday for the abuse of the features. You've had a "friendly warning" and in my eyes your subscription would of been removed - or you could of had a warning/infraction so you got off lightly.
Regarding Saurav (saying no one uses the calendar), that's like saying if no one used the forum it would be ok for everyone to go around swearing? would we allow it? no. The rules are set out clear and if you break them you will be contacted (or action taken against you).
