Could be an interesting summer. The club can command a bigger fee.
@Stefanwolves, Clowgon isn't back.
yeah. could be that and rooney and united have agreed to let him go in the summer but now united can charge 50mil+ or something
orrrr seeing as the owners got involved they might have promised investment in the side but even fergie himself said there would be investment when giggs/scholes retire
Rooney could have had a deal with another club? Either verbally, handshake etc. Obviously this wouldn't be legal as it's 'tapping up' and a deal/fee would have to be agreed with United obviously.
I think you misunderstood what I said.

Erm Hello. I am a blue and not once said Rooney is going to come to us, nor wanted him. He'd never perform here.
And i'm glad he's stayed, he's past his prime reckon, he's not gonna get any better, plus any money that doesn't go towards United hilariously growing debt is great (Y)
Looks like the Glazers have promised to add £50m to their debt to keep him for another 5 years then. Good negotiation tactics from Rooney.
I'm suprised Fergie has accepted him back, he's normally quite stubborn when it comes to how his players 'treat' the club... Staam, Beckham, RVD etc

I said biggest as well as most successful...Man U are probably bigger than Liverpool, but nowhere near as successful, Arsenal are tiny, Bayern are tiny, Chelsea have only become big in the last 6 years so yh...Sorry, did you make that list up in your head? Or did you pluck it from the clouds? Biggest clubs =
Real Madrid
United
Barcelona
Chelsea
Arsenal
Bayern
I think even Newcastle are above Liverpool.
And please, could you really imagine Rooney, the chav that he is, living in Spain? It aint happening.
Man City have unlimited funding, they will always find loop holes through the rules which Uefa sanction upon them.
As I write this, the bookies have stopped taking bets on ROONEY STAYING. Interesting. Maybe the Glazers are gonna put their hands in their pockets and buy some players (which is the ambition that Rooney was looking for)?
And no1 expected Beckham to go to Spain js.
Edit: Lmfao he stayed anyway :L fail.
