Marketplace Average Price Glitch

Ok so I was selling 3 of the Rare Gold Cups for 250c each in the marketplace , the average was 380c , so i was expecting that someone will buy it quickly

Two days later , I had to take them off the market , but I noticed that the average was now 428c , .

Naturally , a question comes in my mind , how come the average increased without my 3 Trophies being sold? :S

no idea? maybe they monitor actual trades as well?

This is because once a trade becomes 7 days old, it is discarded from the average. So there might have been for example loads of 100c trades 8 days ago but now they are discarded from the average so obviously the average will go up

Eg
100c
150c
200c
Average = 150c

Then the 100c trade is 8 days old
150c
200c
Average = 175c despite none being sold
