It'll decrease the life-span of 'awesomeness' by like 3 months, once you're above £1000 there is very little difference if you increase the amount. It mostly allows you to get a nice looking case. Aesthetics really.

I'd recommend building it, it's more fun and most commercial computers at this cost will generally cost more just for a better design (eg. Apple Tax). They're actually not very hard to build, if you've ever installed RAM, that's the level of difficulty it gets to. Just like a really expensive puzzle.

I don't really see how you've managed to do that, and thermal paste is easy, just put a rice grain size amount on and Bob's ya uncle
