I've lived in a boarding school for four years and I went through a similar feeling in my second year.

The best thing you can do in my experience is:

Remember this wont last forever, you got your whole life ahead of you after this.

Stick with your true mates ( whether thats only 2 or as many as 20 don't fall for fake freinds).

Don't get involved with stuff you are not comfortable with ( i was tempted many a time and im glad i didn't get involved seeing what happened to the people who did).

Try and find somebody who's caring and understanding and talk to them, i didn't do this and regret it as it would have gotten me through this sooner.

Find some sort of pastime or sport that involves other people, make sure you like what you're doing though as it's pointless to do something every day that you hate as this will depress you.
