Depends on the length of the relationship you broke up from really, but probably about a month.
I voted for 1-2 weeks because a month is too long tbh.
I think if it was a serious and long relationship, probably a month. If it was a short one and not serious at all, then I wouldn't really know...possibly a week or two?

I don't think it matters. Whatever feels right to you is the right duration to "wait" in my opinion. If you find someone before what you think is an "acceptable period" why should you prolong your suffering to wait for it to be appropriate to pursue.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
i voted month and year, but really it depends on the case.
personally i try not to date right after i break up with someone or have been broken up with. all of my relationships have been over a month apart, and for some its been several months.
hi my name is lexi
i'm living this crazy beautiful life.*
A month to a year. It really does depend on the situation, i.e. how much you loved them, why you broke up, if you got dumped etc...
It's not really up to other people about this. But I think its up to you inside to make this choice. If I had to make the choice I'd say. Once you find another true love.
