    If you're on about HTC's new locking procedure, then don't worry. The HTC Magic is old and doesn't have the latest android/HTC software to be able to be locked remotely.

    No, any phone sold can be effectively banned (known as barred) from any network by any network.

    I'd sell it for £20 cheaper then it is normally on ebay then buy one myself that way you wont be at risk of getting it locked.
