That's no problem, just download a ROM from XDA-Developers, slap the zip on your SD Card and install it through the recovery menu you installed earlier.

I almost cried, but my hopes are up a bit now.

It didn't work the first time, but I installed it now

Now, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=734802 that is what I used. I am getting the red eye thing, and then it comes up with the DROID logo - but it just repeats that stage.

Any idea how to fix that?

I can do setup or anything, since it doesn't load properly.

Same thing happening as before, but on a different style (the red eye then the stylish white DROID sign..)

Good to see you got it all working!

The only time you can brick your phone is when you're updating the Radio baseband as far as I know, other than that you can always recover recovery and the ROM

Thanks I am just trying to find a working ROM that looks half decent I had 'TelusStoneLight' which works - but isn't that attractive.

MotoFrenzy didn't load past the loading screen sadly. Going to try a previous version of it.
