Hand-held lasers at LaserQuest

I'm goin LQ on Sunday and I was wondering is there a way of earning points without shooting anyone? Apparently you can shoot people with hand-held lasers rather than the actual gun, and I've heard of taping up your sensor but I was thinking more about the HH Laser. First of all how does it work and how can I get hold of one.

Why do you want to do that? Can't you play the game fairly with everyone else rather than trying to abuse the system - which if caught would probably get you disqualified / kicked out.

I don't think there's a way with these systems to gain points with laser pointers, you can generally only kill other people with them.

Uhmmm...I've never played LQ but at Quasar there's a base you can shoot and you get like 1000 points for shooting it, but just play fair?

I want to play fair but everyone else said they were doin it so I wanted a way to "protect" myself by having another, anyway thanks for help! And how can you get caught it's in the dark and they don't have staff in there I don't think.

They have 1-2 staff over-seeing things in case a fight breaks out.

Tell ur friends to stop being so lame and play the game for fun instead of winning (which it isnt really winning if you cheat since everyone knows u will have)

If laser quest still uses the equipment from a few years ago, then they will use Infrared and you wont be able to cheat with a laser pointer.

Doesnt cheating defeat the object of the game? Its more fun playng it how it should be.
