Do you add people you don't know on facebook?

I dont mean people who like go to your school and you dont talk to but add em anyway.

I mean like, if you're browsing someone's photos and you see someone you like the look of or whatever, do you ever add them to see if you can talk to them or what have you?

I can't say i do and i cant say i receive them either but like my friend gets requests from loads of people that they don't know and i find it baffling someone doesnt feel a bit odd doing that. Might just be me.

Altthough i get those random adds all the time i swear there like bots or something because if you write on their wall they never respond

I do... If I don't share information that I don't want strangers seeing, then i dont put it on.

I don't add randomers, but if someone requests me and they're not called adjgbalseitguna elkjgbnlakjbha or something, then I'll add them until such time as they start to be annoying/freaky.

I rarely add people I only added like 100+ people as I was sick of not having any 'real' friends on my list. I had about 10 people who I had become closer to online but they and myself knew nothing about each other then I wouldn't.

However, the other day someone added me, I only added him to see if he lived near, he put a message on the friend request screen 'Hey there beautiful...lol' or something which I don't get as my picture is a cartoon cow.

But no, not usually.
