    Default Purchasing Credits

    I've been trying to purchase some Habbo credits via my debit card however every time I try to, it just declines my card. I have sufficient funds so I have no idea what the problem is.

    Any ideas?

    I had same problem, Except my money is going through transaction and can take up to 15days for it too go through. Same for you. Check your credit

    It hasn't gone through at all as my available balance is still the same.

    When I have this problem and I need to buy credits quickly I go to my local shop and buy a UKash voucher. If you are unsure if your shop does them just look for these signs:



    Or click HERE then enter your postcode or whatever and it shows your nearest shop . Buy a voucher and then enter the code through the habbo credits page.

    They told me this:

    "Hello,
    Thank you for contacting Habbo.
    Unfortunately, we are unable to find out why an individual card has not been accepted.
    Transactions can be declined for a number of reasons including:
    * Incorrect card number/expiry date/security code details being typed in
    * The transaction being rejected by the card issuing bank
    * Too many attempts at purchasing within a specific time frame
    * Suspect fraud risk
    * A temporary communications failure between Habbo's card processor and your bank when we try to process the payment.
    This list doesn't cover everything - there can be many other reasons too!
    We suggest that you try the transaction again after seven days, or use an alternative card/payment method. You can find out more about the different methods available to purchase credits by visiting www.habbo.com/credits.

    and in reply to a question on how long one must wait after too many purchase attemt failures:

    And I was still having issues:



    "Thank you for your contacting Habbo.
    Transactions become declined due to the response BiBit receives from the bank when the transaction is going for approval.
    There are a number of reasons for the bank to decline transactions. For example, the issuing bank has refused to authorize the transaction, or they may have hit some security violations (result of too many attempts), or they suspect that there is a duplicate transaction, where the cardholders bank is indicating there is already an approval on the card for this dollar amount.
    If you are continuously being declined or cannot go on to the next section, we suggest checking your address.
    Currently there is a single box for the street address and house/apt number.
    Please submit your street address number into the box and leave off your Apt
    number.
    For example:
    West Fake Street

    90210
    Also, you may wish to check with your bank and make sure that your card is
    in order and that the information you're entering on the website matches the
    information at your bank.
    If you have fraud protection on your credit card you will need to contact your bank and have habbo.com added to the approved list of sites you may purchase from. Since Habbo coins are not sent to your home via regular mail your bank marks them as suspicious and will not let the purchase go through. Once you have settled the issue with your bank please wait at least 3-5 hours before attempting to purchase again to make sure any changes go into effect.
    If you have successfully purchased Habbo coins with this card before please wait 8 days before purchasing again. You may only purchase or attempt to purchase 3 times in an 8 day period. Each attempt before the 8 days expire will reset the wait time another 8 days.
    If you would like to make a purchase with an alternate credit card after your initial 3 attempts or purchases have been made it must be done with a credit card registered to a different bill payer name and different home address. The purchase must also be completed from a computer with a different IP address. You are only allowed 3 attempts per IP address in an 8 day period as well as 3 attempts from a card registered to a home address or bill payer name. This is for the protection of the bill payer to prevent unauthorized credit card charges and fraud and can not be lifted.
    Please remember only debit or credit cards are an accepted form of payment for this method. Prepaid visa/mastercard gift cards or any type of card which is reloaded with money will not be successful. Please use these cards to purchase our prepaid Habbo cards in one of our retail locations."
