Right my bank told me i had £20POUND balance nothing due to come out at all, i logged in today and im - £25 in the overdraft! because a payment to a curry house took 3weeks to go through it takes the piss :@

You don't get sympathy for stupidity. I always check my 'available balance' before using my card.

No, The available balance was exactly the same as the balance.

it happens all the time. My bank has done it several times too, it's normal. Some payments can take upto six weeks to come off

I always make a note of what I've spent on my card and then I know so I don't wonder where it's gone. I always expect it to take ages.

Thats why I stick to not having an overdraft, it would just get me in trouble. :dance:

But what bank are you with anyway, different banks take different times for payments to go through.
