    Default My new toy

    So after owning the old blue 1.2 for about a year:




    I decided I fanced something different. Apart from that, the old one came with a string of things going wrong; cracked windscreen, slow-punctured tyres, tyres with not a lot of tread, dents, scratches, leaking sunroof, the list went on. But I loved it, because it was my first car, and it was mine.

    But now I've got a new pride and joy, picked her up last night - She's a 2010 '59 plate Clio 1.2 TCE Dynamique - TCE = "Turbo Controlled Efficiency", yes, it has a turbo!






    I hope to get some better pictures when the weather perks up and I can give her a good wash.
    She's rapid!

    i doubt it's rapid lol but it'll feel nippy compared to a 1.2 without a turbo. i'd have bought a ph1 172 and spent the rest of the budget on insuring the bugger, although at least this one wont break

    tbh when i say rapid i mean it feels rapid compared to the old 1.2! i know the old one had 75bhp and the new has 100bhp but honestly it feels like a monster compared to the old jobby. nah i just hate older cars tbh, would rather have something that i didnt have to splash out on new parts constantly, unlike the old one.

    As for those asking, it was £7.5k list price and I got about £1100 for the old one (needed MOT so they automatically class it as "below average condition"). Insurance is only an extra £34 a year.

    10.5k, and it's a year old so it isn't bad at all tbh.
