Get one of those minimap mods (when you update). You can set waypoints and stuff.

Start > CMD in the search box (if on XP Start > Run > CMD) > in the black box type:

ping hxf.gamebit.me

Press enter, then when it's done, type:

ping svr.gamebit.me

Copy/paste everything in the window here (to copy, right click anywhere in the black > Mark > Highlight the whole window, then just click in the highlighted bit)

my downgraded minecraft takes about 3-10 restarts (have to close it with taskmanager) to join the server because it freezes when I click to connect
