    Default So I ordered..

So I ordered three pairs of plain joggers for lounging about the house with from Fruit of the Loom on Amazon on the 24th of December and they were apparently shipped out on the 3rd of January. I hadn't received them so I was quick to leave negative feedback when they emailed me complaining about what I had written. They proposed that if I changed my negative feedback to a more positive view or removed it completely then they would re-send the product and refund half of the original price. I emailed them back agreeing to this and received the reply:
    Hi Joey,

Thats fine, we will get them sent out on special delivery for you and we will refund half the amount of your order aswel.

If you do receive the first order of jog pants you are more then welcome to keep them aswel.

    Many Thanks
    Chloe
What annoys me is Chloe's abuse of the English language because 'aswel' isn't a word. Has anybody else ever experienced an online store emailing you back when negative feedback is left?

omg lol "abuse of the english language". and no, i haven't experienced the latter part, but i presume they're doing that because feedback is very important considering it can sway other customers buying from them.

I don't think they want the feedback to effect their 'image' I suppose as a company. I've never actually experienced a situation like this though and I find it quite interesting on how they proposed you to change or remove the feedback.

Out of all the hundreds of things I have bought online I think I have only left negative feedback once or twice and no seller has gotten in contact with me afterwards. Probably because they knew they deserved the feedback left. Usually if I don't receive an item or whatever I just email the seller and ask them what's going on or get them to give me a refund.

Simple: get the goods and then leave negative feedback.

To be honest, I personally think all products sold from companies should be sent by special delivery because it's more secure. I purchased some stock from China and I have to say, the support is disgusting. I had to wait a good few days to get the correct answer...

That's what I was thinking but then again there is the fact that both might never arrive.

Do you think I should only leave feedback when I've received the product or am I right in doing what I've done?

Good luck with that, I've had enough trouble with British suppliers.
