Download, but you can ask to have a disk sent to you for about £3 or something tiny. Also, it's Micosoft Office 2010 now It's a bit better than 2007 too

What's the actual difference of 2010 and 2007 versions? Also if I give my friend the disk after installing on my laptop, will he able to install it?

I haven't got microsoft, 2010 so Gomme will have to answer that one. If you get a disk with a licence that allows more than one user - yes. Otherwise, no.

Don't they usually do both when you buy the disk :S It was ages ago I used them, but I'm sure I got given a link to the download and the disk served as a hardcopy for when the link expires. Or I'm thinking of Ultimate Steal

Hmm, hard to say. I guess the main difference is that Microsoft have moved important things into convenient places and added a few useful features. When you print a page you get a preview of the end result rather than having to go to print preview as with older copies, so it's combined the two features - you also don't get a "print" window pop up, it's all done in the Word document, which is a small thing but it does mean you can play around with settings at the same time. It was a while ago I last used 2007, and I haven't used PowerPoint 2010 yet

    A few webpages on differences:

Either way, you'd be given 2010 rather than 2007, unless they're still somehow selling it

You can download for immediate use but I wait for the disc. It comes pretty quickly.
