    As far as I'm aware, the average is 48 hours of professional tuition combined with 36 hours of private practice.

    i had 19 professional hours and about 30 minutes private practice haha, drove to tescos and back

    dno who said golf cba quoting but a golf as a first car for a male will not be pretty on insurance.

    If you shop around, I'm sure you'd be able to find a reasonable quote for a Golf as I have 3 friends with them - one had the 2.0 GTI (115bhp) and paid only £2k a year insurance, one friend has the 1.4 model (75bhp) and another has the 1.8 SDI diesel. They're all 17 and passed within the last 6 months, and neither of their insurances can be any more than £2k respectively.

    I'm in a high risk area everyone I know is like 2.5k on 1.0 Corsas and stuff.
