    Default Linux Security...?

    Hey,

I have a linux server & Im not entirely sure what I need to use to secure it from attacks etc, my router already has DDOS protection on it so thats sorted, what else do I need to secure my server from attacks?

Install RKHunter, Tripwire, some kind of firewall and you're set. If it's a mail or web server it might be worth installing ClamAV.

Oh, also change the port for SSH to something more obscure than 22 (and use a password with lower/upper case, numbers and punctuation!)
