    Default [REP] Hideous Internet Speeds

    Hey

I am with BT, and over the last few days my internet has gone from its average of 5mb, down to 1.somethingmb it is really slow now, and views are not even worth trying to watch.

    Any ideas what has happened?

There could be maintenance going on somewhere on the line so it maybe something as tiny as that. I think I had maintenance on my line a few months ago when I was getting pre-broadband speeds, but it seems to of sped up to 6 as an average. If in doubt, email BT or check to see if they have a webpage that displays their services in certain areas and if there are any reported issues

You could ask BT on twitter @BTCare - they are helpful and get straight to the point
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

I think it's their new initiative to encourage their customers to get more fresh air.

    ..

It's probably just maintenance, I'd contact BT as has been displayed above.
