I've always thought Heidfeld is a good driver and thought he would have got a drive for this season - yes i know he has now... but originally before Kubica did the crash...

Hope Kubica comes back at the end of 2011 and even stronger in 2012

The problem is he's german, and there are too many good german drivers. I'm glad he's racing, although at the cost of another great driver.
    One for the road.

Thoughts on the Bahrain situation ... do you reckon that the race will still be going on or not?

I think that it wont go ahead but they may do the race at a later stage of the season...

Bahrain was boring anyway. Rosberg fastest in testing today, and fastest so far throughtout the weekend.
    One for the road.

Yeah Reuters and AP now reporting that the organisers have called it off. I'm kinda sad it delays the F1 season, however I'm by no means a fan of the Bahrain Grand Prix, it's so boring that the season always seems to kick off on a downer. Definitely one of the better Grand Prixs to postpone (or cancel for all I care).

Here's to hoping there's also civil unrest in Valencia and Singapore in the future

I agree with you, the only reason they are out there is because of the money. It has no legacy nor history, and it is pretty bland.

Is the season going to start one week or two weeks later?

First race was suppose to be on 13th March I believe and now it's been pushed back to the 27th so that's two weeks?

Australlia is a brilliant race and a great place to start the season. So bring it on!
