I wouldn't say the PG era is being phased out because of two promos which included mild swearing.

Anyone who stopped watching WWE purely because they no longer bleed, swear in promos or hit women is just a bit silly.

Same. I started watching at In Your House 14 in 97, nan brought me the video stopped watching in 2004 and switched to TNA.

To be honest wrestling wasn't bad pre 1997, it was just a tad slow with basic wrestling moves. With some exceptions of course, like Shawn Michael vs Brett Hart at wrestle mania 12 and the ladder match at wrestle mania 10.

Been watching wrestling for 14 years nearly, scary that!
