I'm not entirely sure if Nicola is the right person to contact,, she hasn't mentioned being involved in the coding and design field of the forum But well done for making an example

We need a proper FORUM Technician to do things like fix skin bugs and (example) spoilers. Then we need a decent SERVER technician to fix all the damn hissy fits the server keeps throwing. You lot should be begging for Jamesy to help you out whilst you find someone else or wait for this other dude you've found to be available.

    Wow ._.

Also, dc about the double post.

Why are admins allowed to -rep people multiple times? Oli's -rep'd me three times, two times I wasn't even being rude to anyone and he was annoyed I was moaning about the server? PMSL. Thank **** I left Moderation when I did, wouldn't like to be representing this forum much longer.
I just think you are making a mountain out of a molehill here. Yes it would be great to have Jamesy back but how many times do you have to make the same point? I think you have been heard loud and clear and I am sure that it will be considered but as I said before most of the members seem happy with it.

I've had the problems about twice a day since Wednesday, so it's beginning to happen a bit more for me. I may be just unlucky, but it shouldn't be happening often. They're meant to be rare, after all

Speaking of -rep and thread closures, some people seem to be a bit trigger happy in the old management department - even worse when they won't remove it for blatantly being pointless/uncalled for. Were threads always closed in the feedback forum? I remember the days they fizzled out, not because management have decided they do not wish to discuss it anymore
It might have been on-topic, Gomme if it hadn't been for the fact that there was already a thread on it and the same arguments were being duplicated when the actual thread was about the standard of the spoilers.

The standard of the spoilers which cant be changed because we don't have the staff.

This has been a problem for many months now, it's beyond a joke.

tbf tom "the standard of spoilers" is hardly a major problem I have already told Nicola that I will look into changing the spoilers myself when I get some free time after the next few weeks. So in terms of spoilers, it is perhaps the case of not having a forum technician to account for the reason they arent being done now, but that's not to say they won't ever get done. Nobody has denied that a Forum Technician would be handy, I hate seeing errors in the vb styles we have and we have plans to appoint someone to fix such things in the next few months. As I have said many times, as Catzsy has said - there aren't major problems that can't be rectified without a Forum Technician so whilst it would be nice there is no pressing need, Jin can (and will) fix the styling errors cause by the update (which lets face it are minimal on public skins) whilst he gets the chance.

This thread is going to be closed, as it turning into quite an attack on all staff. Your points have been taken into account and I can confirm there are plans for a kind of 'technician' role in the not so distant future - these things however will take time for reasons I will not be divulging.

I am also, for now going to rule against a new thread being closed in replacement of this - any created will be closed. I will however make a thread for reporting server errors on all three sites - all other problems can be reported by our Bug Tracker.
