i know my voice isn't amazing but i try my best, but i have songs i did like a year ago and it's improving all the time so i'm not at my 'peak' or anything yet

I don't think you have a great voice, but we will go over that as you can't help that.

The main thing for me, is when it got quite 'bassey' the volumes weren't quite right - I think your voice was too quiet, and the beat was too loud.

Why not download Cubase (or pirate it..), as you will probably find it a much better program for recording on.
