Habbox video competition

Hey,
Firstly I gotta say I absolutely love the idea, its an obvious competition but hasn't really ever been done. I was looking at some of the advertisements and I thought they would be cringe worthy, most of the are brilliant and allot of people put in a lot of effort. I think everyone who enters the competition should get at least a few repetition points, only because the competition is longer than usual. Everyone of those videos deserves something, even if it's just a random 5 rep power +rep or something.


Oh and I'm not entering so I didn't post this for my benefit best of luck to everyone

Aww Richie you charmer, I suggested to Alex and Mike to make it a monthly thing but they both disagreed with the reason that there wouldn't be that much entries.

I'm over the moon that it has had a few entries, I personally didn't think it would get any.

That's what I thought too, the first thing I thought when I seen the thread was "ughh effort" lol. If it was monthly it wouldn't really work, the prize should be bigger and it should be a yearly thing.

Jord asked if he could try it because Habbo have done a few before. I too didn't expect many (good) entries but you don't know until you try! I haven't watched them all yet but I'll certainly be doing so. I'm not too keen on making it a monthly thing yet, I think for a special one-off every now and again, it'll be better than one every month.

As for the +rep thing, some of the videos have received a lot of rep but I might give something to those who haven't using my own rep power. Might because at the end of the day it's still a competition and other competitions (especially the graphics ones) also can take some time to enter too, if done properly. Thanks for the feedback.
