Lying habbos

Just a rant about the habbos that feel the need to lie about being hacked so they can either impress you because of you having a lot or to try and get some stuff from you. Now I know habbos being hacked/scammed is a common thing in habbo and Im not slating the posters in this forum that have genuinely had this happen to them.


I am just sick of having what I thought was a good conversation to be marred by 'I was ded rich and I had 15 thrones n lots of monoliths but i got hacked' or 'I was hacked for my dino eggs n now i need furni' etc etc. Why do habbos feel the need to try and impress you by lying? If I am talking to someone normally then it should be obvious they dont need to do this and I dont care.

Yeah i agree it's annoying. However in a way it's a good thing, as it tells me early on whether or not i should have that person on my friends list.

Yeah, if somebody had any supers, they would be aware that the only way you can get hacked is if you're stupid enough to give somebody access to your account.

I agree, a while back there was this SUPER rich habbo (cannot say his name) but he had atleast 300gb and 20t's. He NEVER had his trading on, he scammed me 90c. Then he said all his furni had been hacked and wanted donations!

It's easily recognisable when some idiot comes out with ' lost 15t pls don8' and these are the ones to look out for. It's usually easy to tell genuine people from liars but some people are diseiving... Very unhonest people about these days.

1. im evil.
2. you can't tell who's genuine because of these liars. I wouldn't say they're tryna impress you though, they just found someone who they could get something from. greedy sods.

Dude. It's not real life. It's only virtual. If your having a hard time with people lying, goodluck in the real world. Away from the computers. It's not pretty obv. Besides, that if you don't like it, dont be around those type of people. Ignore them, or dont' be friends with them. For the oddballs that are saying 'Its just habbo' and 'Why are you ranting about habbo, think about the real world' are just being pedantic. In case you haven't noticed this is the habbo section of the forum for habbo things. As Eoin said, lying is easier behind a computer screen plus the fact the real world for the most part doesn't have the sheer amount of begging idiots habbo has and real people lie about different matters that I talk to my real friends about.
