    Ok so I have an acer 5732z and about a month back my charger broke. So i got a new £50 one thinking it would be good. But what I have found tonight is my laptop is melting the chargers and idk what to do. Obviously chargers arent cheap and neithers a new laptop so any solutions please (ps atm i have a spare charger but I don't want it to melt)

    £50 for a charger? In my experience the cheapest chargers are actually pretty good and tend to be better than the more expensive ones.
    Get on amazon, buy one of the cheap chargers, see if it melts. If it does, you have a serious problem with your laptop and need to get in contact with the manufacturers.

    Ring up Acer, I'd let them know in case they have some hints/able to fix it for you.

    Send the laptop back to Acer for repair.

    Ok thanksss Yeah I know it's an expensive charger but it is universal and we didnt have time to travel to go get one

    Probably best to stick to the acer branded and produced chargers imo. Maybe buy off of their website or a reliable source?
