I will eat things over a week past their expiry date.

Things like bread and cheese I will just cut the mould out, eggs I keep in my fridge so I know they will last longer than on the box, milk I sniff first before I use. Canned goods don't really go off within reason.
canned stuff lasts forever! didn't they find a can from like 20 years ago which was still fine?

i'm the star in the reasonably priced car!

Yeah I'm really bad for this haha, although some things you can eat even if they're a day or two out of date!

You've not seen what happens to canned hot dogs that have been buried in the back of a cupboard and out of date by a few years Loudest, messiest bang I've ever heard

    "Some things". 24 doesn't make a difference.

I do aswell, tbh not much is out of date until a week or so after its date (maybe milk, bread, or whatever goes off quicker but slightly stale bread can make nice toast), its just a way to make money by making people throw perfectly good food away and buying more!

My Little 8 year old brother was having breakfast earlier and wasn't sure on the Milk Date... It was FEB 18th, but i said it was 12th April So my brother sat at the table, got his spoon and with the first swallow of milk he nearly threw up, I was like: APRIL FOOLS!

Nice to know you keep milk a month-and-a-half past its use-by date in your fridge.

    HAHAHA that is SOO funny.

Perhaps your house should have people round to check you are being looked after properly.

Cannot believe how wasteful some people are on here :S One day out of date? GET over it. I had some scotch pancakes yesterday that were 6 days out of date - they tasted fine, and guess what? I am still alive.

Not so long ago, you didn't get sell by dates - and people didn't panic.

I don't tend to eat anything that's out of date, even crisps, because they tend to go somewhat soft after a bit. I know they'll be perfectly fine to eat, but I just don't.
i'm out of touch, i'm out of love
i'll pick you up when you're getting down
and out of all these things i've done
i think i love you better now
