Davina has turnt down the presenting role, she said a while back she wouldn't do it as it was so emotional to let it go, but she's over it now!

I have mixed feelings as I did love Big Brother but I question will Channel 5 give it the budget it requires, will they be able to dedicate the whole of their evening broadcasting time to the show, will they find the right successor for Davina? I just think it'll either need to be really fresh and new or it'll just fail.

I think Davina made the show what is was. It's getting old anyway, they've already through most of the freaks and most of the celebs with no money left.

I've never been able to understand Big Brother. It's like if I got a mate or two around, locked ourselves in my house and filmed it. Would you guys watch? The answer, well at least for most, is No. And to actually think there are people that stay up watching the 24/7 stream non stop.

However I don't think not having Davina well really effect it. Don't lie you didn't watch it for her, you watched it for the self concious, fake plastic, up their own ass wanna be pop stars.

I heard ages ago that channel 5 was going to at least attempt to get the rights and I'm not surprised to be honest. A lot of people will probably sadly watch, and Channel 5, well let's say its had its fair share of issues/low viewer ratings. I think Channel 5 probably thinks that this will be a massive booster to them, and it probably will.

I'll not watch it. As I stated I've never been a fan, but even past fans of the series do seem to think its been milked dry to the last drop.
