Ok first un-install every firefox version on your computer (dont worry about feeling like a noob, everyone had to learn things at one point)

Then here is a direct link for the latest firefox download, http://download.mozilla.org/?product...win&lang=en-GB

Only download it when you have uninstalled every version as certain files may conflict causing problems like you have now

    nope, still no luck

i uninstalled everything to do with mozzilla/firefox on my computer, and downloaded from the link, and it does the same thing. should it be as easy as download>>>install>>>open browser>>>browse?

or do i have to configure it at all in any way?

thanks for all your help, habox rocks!

If you just right click on the webpage you want deleted and select delete then it will only show up in temporary internet files, which there's millions of and no one would bother their behind checking.

yeah, but my IE is messed up, and if you view 1 more webpage after deletion, it brings back all deleted pages again, so when my mum opens it up, she goes to the homepage, which adds the stuff back into history
