Do you HAVE to kill all the barrows brothers before going to the chest? Or does it just increase your chances of getting something good.

If you don't kill barrows brothers then you wont get barrows armour.. If you kill kharil for instance.. You have a small chance of getting kharils armour.. Meaning that if you kill all 6 brothers you will have 6x more chance to get something that killing one. Although it is still likely you will only get a few runes
