    Default Hairdressing apprenticeships?

    Just wondering if anyones done one and knows if you have to already be working in a hair dressers to do one?

    You don't have to be working in a hairdressers to do one, and that's all I know about it

    I think if I remember what my local hairdresser says is right that when you do the college course they will find you a placement but quite honestly I would try to get a job starting from the bottom and then they will send you to College.

    Yeah I've got about a year left of school before I go to college but I just wanted to be all clued up about it. My hairdresser has just opened her own salon after previously working for someone and my mum said it might be a good idea to see her and see if she's taking on weekend work because when I start my apprenticeship it might be better that I've had some previous experience in the working environment in the career I want.

    Yes, even if she would take you on for a short unpaid trial to prove yourself worthy of taking on. Jobs are hard to find these days.
