It depends, i dont mind them on the back of the neck but nowhere else on the neck.
It can be anything as long as it looks good. My freind has like a stars and lines pattern on the back of hers and it looks lovely

Dappy's one is ridiculously big. And I don't like them because when you're old and then your neck/chin is wrinkly you won't be able to make it out

They can be a bit weird if they're around the front, and I think you have to have the right neck to pull it off. I don't mind on the back of the neck though (that's where mine it
).
