I wouldn't say it is Ugly, but each to their own.
Pointless, is arguable. It does serve one purpose that can be useful which is if you get given a present, you'll be able to tell straight away, as opposed to before where you would know find out if you was to randomly open your inventory or if that person was to tell you.

It should only be for gifts to be honest. People usually look at the new items they get in a trade while the trade box is open, so I don't think they need to then be reminded

Meh, kinda pointless in my opinion, but I guess it does highlight your new items.

Havn't got this yet although I still havn't got the user click options as well and I don't want both of these updates. What are the numbers for and the green colour and "new" and "#" label is going to get on my nerves!
