yes I do believe that it is a good idea for spam to be kept hidden

The reason the spam forum was hidden from guests was due to the fact that the search engines will see the spam forum and then black list us in some sort of way.

Blacklist in terms of the engines think we are a spam website and nothing else. (I could be wrong but that's what I thought when read the reason) I'm not quite sure why you have mentioned spam bans as this isn't to do with anyone being banned?

that's a silly reason to block it off for guests though!!
and I'm just saying that some people were thinking it was because the majority of rule breakers use spam (lies!!) and that's why it's not there. if that was the cause then you should just ban those members rather than guests but I get what you mean now
