If she's 18 soon, then it's not that big a deal. IMO, physical age doesn't matter - maturity does. Some younger girls might have a problem with dating older guys, and vice versa, but I don't really think it's specifically because of physical age.

Although yeah my parents would have a problem (I think) if I told them that mine's 20 tomorrow ;l - but it's my decision anyway.

I know someone whos 20 was with a 17 year old and the age difference was too much :/ she was way way way to immature for him... thats all i was saying .

I've met her parents, they're ok with it. Her ex is a year older than me anyway, and they had no problem with that. Just the rotten thing is he's my mate lol. Oh well, he don't mind.

Just wondering, I know roughly how old a few people who have replied were, and you were the first saying 'no' basically. I simply asked what people's views are, you said NO because of maturity level, therefore (no offence) your post isn't really relative, as I never mentioned about maturity, I was simply asking in general. I know I sound rude, not intended to be, and all this made sense in my head lol.

Stereotyping isn't good by the way, not everyone is of the same maturity as everyone else their age.

Na my friend is really mature. She only turned 17 but looks a lot older and goes for guys like 20-22
