So the first episode of this documentary aired last night (Tuesday 14th June) and supposably shows a portrayal of 'Modern Scotland'.An observed documentary series following the dramatic and often emotional highs and lows of daily life for six different families all living in one large housing scheme in Kilmarnock. From parents battling to keep their kids on the straight and narrow to people fighting for community projects, the series offers a snapshot of life in modern day Scotland.
Shocked certainly describes what I was feeling watching this, from the opening credits whereby a male is seen injecting heroin into his arm in one sequence and a female full on punching another female.
It certainly doesn't show scotland in a good light, did anybody watch it? If not you should catch it on iPlayer, heres the link;
Warning; Contains VERY strong language
